Lessons for Children

As a teacher, I aim to lead the young piano student step by step and lesson by lesson through the exciting experience of piano study.

By imparting musical knowledge in an interesting, logical and progressive manner, I help the student to build love for and hopefully one day share in my enthusiasm for the art of music.

Each lesson very gradually guides the pupil’s progress at the piano a step at a time. Each new musical experience is approached by the pupil by the following four ways:

  • Explanation
  • Actual writing
  • Reading music
  • Playing

Each lesson consists of explanatory and written material including a piece which is based on the new musical experience. In this way, the young pianist is able to make use of the large amount of supplementary material that is necessary for their musical progress.
